The first post....
This first line has taken me 5 mins to start. What to write? What would people like to read? Who will be reading this?
I am a regular reader of blogs, comments to the editor etc and whilst I can't get enough of what other people are thinking, I have never desired to add my own. I am happy sitting at my computer dissecting, disbelieving, agreeing with what others are saying. Well now it is my turn to post.

I am hoping that my entire team take up this opportunity to run through this course, as we are on the cusp of moving into web 2.0 as another learning medium for our visitors. With more virtual visitors visiting museum than real visitors, I see web 2.0 as a large component of our public programming in the future. As a team, we have explored chats, forums, digital stories and web casts but we have yet to fully move into this arena. My desire is that the Museum web/ on-line programming can be a hub for a community of learners.
